Dawn is an adorable 4 month old Siamese kitten who was rescued from a southern shelter. She is the kind of kitten who insists on "helping" you do everything!  She follows around her foster mom and is right in the middle of everything she does.  She will hop up onto your lap, and is not deterred no matter how many times you put her back down.  This cuddly sweet little girl will make a wonderful companion! Dawn is currently in a loving foster home in NC while she awaits transport to DPR, which is scheduled for Feb. 4th. We are accpeting applications for her now, she will be ready for adoption starting Feb. 6th. 

Dawn has tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms    
      Adoption fee is: $150 plus refundable $40 spay/neuter deposit 

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
