Nala and her sister Nadia were found looking for food around a dumpster in Jonesville, VA. They obviously weren't doing a very good job as they are thin, matted down to the skin and suffering from sarcoptic mange. Since DPR always has a soft spot for the Collie's and Shelties we got these girls vetted to take care of the mange and had them brought up. They are as sweet as can be and there are only a few bald spots left. They are starting to gain weight and are having a ball playing with the other dogs and begging for attention. We don't anticipate either of these girls getting much bigger than about 45 lbs. They could be more on the Sheltie side than Collie but also have another mystery breed somewhere in their background. No matter, they are well on their way to being gorgeous and just wonderful dogs. Nala is the more alpha girl with Nadia being very submissive.
