This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

There is nothing strange about these "Stranger Things" kittens! Joyce, Eleven, Mike, Dustin and Chief Hopper  are about 2 months old and were rescued from a kill shelter. These gorgeous Maine Coon mixes all have very long fluffy hair and the most precious ear tufts! They are all very friendly and social and enjoy being pet and held. They love to play, and it is so much fun to watch them chase their toys and wrestle with each other. They are guaranteed to keep you entertained!

They tested negative for FeLv/FIV, are up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $150 plus $40 refundable spay/neuter deposit

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
