Meet Bailey! This gorgeous fluffy girl was rescued from a high kill shelter in NC. We took her to be spayed and discovered that she was pregnant. She had 6 babies and now it is her time to find a forever home! Bailey is a big Maine Coon but is very low maintenance even with her long hair! He loves to be brushed and have her chin scratched. She also loves to sleep on your pillow. She is an attention seeker and won't stop until she gets your undivided attention! She is very mellow and enjoys relaxing on the scratching post or on her bed. She enjoys being pet and picked up, and she looks oh-so-regal when she walks around!  She likes kids and frequently rubs up against the toddler trying to solicit affection. :)

She is spayed, tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
      Adoption fee is: $100

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
