Wowsers, check out this beauty! Vinnie has the stunning coloring and long fluffy hair of your standard Maine Coon/ Norwegian Forest Cat. He is a very curious boy and likes to follow you around and check out what everyone is doing. He is pretty calm and enjoys lounging on the cat tree. Vinnie was part of a hoarding case in Rutherford County, NC. He has come a very long way in his time in foster care at DPR! He was very scared when he first arrived, but now he climbs up into his foster mom's lap and noto her shoulder to beg to be kissed and loved on. He gets along great with all the kitties and the 3 big dogs in his foster home. He loves to sleep cuddled in bed with his foster parents!

He is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLv/FIV, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
      Adoption fee is: $150

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
