Emily is one of our most recent rescues from an Ohio puppy mill.  She is doing wonderfully adapting to the real world.  She is very inquisitive and friendly.  She is doing well with crate training but still needs more work on housetraining.  She does very well with other dogs and we would like her to go to a home with another small dog for her to continue to learn from.  She is being scheduled to be altered and have her teeth clean and will than be ready for her forever home.  We believe that Emily was de-barked or there was an attempt to de-bark her which is unfortunately very common in mill dogs.  She still barks but it's a lower raspy bark.  Actually kind of cute.  Because of her small size we prefer that she go to a family with older children.   If you are interested in meeting Emily please submit an adoption application.
