Baby Ruth is a 5 month old tortie who was rescued from a high kill shelter in NC. She is very friendly and will walk right up to new people to solicit pets. She gets along very well with cats, dogs and children! She is absolutely beautiful and has a wonderful personality. She is pretty laid back and calm, but is also happy to play with toys from time to time. She loves to curl up in the little cat beds for a cat nap!

She is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLv/FIV/HW, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
      Adoption fee is: $100

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
