Meet Velvet! She is a sweet girl who loves to be pet and to cuddle on your lap! She has beautiful thick black hair. She is very mellow and easy going, especially for a kitten! She enjoys lounging on the cat tree and gazing out the window. She gets along very well with other cats. 

She tested negative for FeLv/FIV/HW, is microchipped, is up to date on all vaccinations and litter box trained. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms    
      Adoption fee is: $50, plus $40 refundable spay/neuter deposit

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
