Katie is my name and I was rescued from a puppy mill.  If left there, my life would have been spent in a wire cage, with no love or attention, and bred twice a year and destroyed when I was no longer of any use.  

I have been on the web-site a while because I spent six weeks recooperating from an injured leg.  I am now fully recovered and ready for a loving and permanent home. 

I am very playful and love both people and other dogs.  The perfect home for me would be with another small playful dog and a mommy and/or daddy who can shower me with lots of love and attention.  If you visit me, I know you will take me home.
