Meet Clark Griswold! This beautiful grey tabby was rescued from a hoarding situation in NC. DPR stepped up and took 12 of the cats. All of them were loved at their previous home, and they are healthy and fully vetted. Clark gets along really well with all the other cats he is being fostered with, especially the ones who came from his previous home (Harry, Uncle Frank, Uncle Eddie and Marv). You can usually find him cuddled up with one of his cat friends. He is a BIG cat with a very sweet and loving personality! He enjoys being pet and is a definite lap cat! He likes to explore and is very affectionate!

*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Adoptive families can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. All paperwork can be done online and adoption fees can be paid by Paypal. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: 

Initial vet visit 
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers 
Monthly flea/tick preventative 
Ear mite preventative 
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
