Alicia is a beautiful little 4 month old kitten who was rescued from a shelter in NC. She had to have eye surgery due to her 3rd eyelid being fused to her upper and lower lids. Her eye will probably always look a little bit different, but it doesn't bother her and she can see just fine! She is a sweet little girl who gets along well with everyone. She is a mellow girl, definitely not a hyper kitten. Her BFF is Leon, they are often cuddling together with their arms wrapped around each other. They'd make a wonderful pair if you're searching for an affectionate adorable pair of kittens!

Alicia is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

If you are interested in adopting Alicia, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
   Adoption fee is: $150

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
