Meet Alfalfa! He is an adorable Abyssinian guinea pigs who is about 3 months old and was surrendered to us along with his mom and sister when his family could no longer care for them. He is a unique guy because he has cowlicks of hair called "rosettes". He is sweet and friendly and is keeps his cage very neat! He only goes potty in one corner! We keep a pee pad in that area and change it out once a day, it is super easy! He enjoys romping around and hanging out in his different hidey houses. He will squeak in excitement when he sees us come into the room because he knows that usually means he'll be getting fresh fruits and veggies, which he LOVES! His favorites are lettuce, peppers, carrots, and bananas. He's not a fan of green beans (but who can blame him!) He saw our vet and got a clean bill of health. He will make a wonderful addition to your home! Guinea pigs are social animals and love having friends. He's the only male guinea pig we have at the moment, so he has to be separated from the females to prevent more babies, but he'd love to be adopted to a home with another male piggie to be his buddy!

*Please note - due to COVID-19, we will not be able to do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
