Beautiful Chloe is about 2.5 months old and was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina along with her siblings (Mackenzie and Judo). She has very long fluffy hair and is a strikingly gorgeous kitten! Chloe has come so far in the few weeks we have had her at DPR - she started out as a terrified kitten who was not at all interested in human contact, and now she starts purring as soon as you start petting her! She will cuddle on her foster mom's lap too. She is still shy especially in new situations and with new people, so she will need someone who is patient and will continue working on her socialization - she is still extremely young, so this is the perfect time for socialization! She is afraid of dogs and rambunctious children, but she gets along very well with other cats and kittens! She'd do great in a quiet home.

This cat tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $150 plus refundable $40 spay/neuter deposit

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application"   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily.  If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.

*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *

DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:

Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.  We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
