Meet Judo! This adorable little girl was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina along with her sisters (Chloe and Mackenzie). She is still a bit shy but is coming out of her shell more and more everyday! She enjoys being pet and cuddled once she gets to know you. She is such a gorgeous girl, and she's still extremely young (only 2.5 months) so she is at a perfect age to socialize! She'll need a patient adopter who is willing to take the time to continue working with her. She'd be most comfortable in a quiet home without dogs or young children.
This cat tested negative for FIV/Felv, is up to date on shots, and litter box trained!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $150 plus refundable $40 spay/neuter deposit
If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit a "Cat Adoption Application" at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
