Candycorn is a teeny tiny little 4 week old girl. Candycorn is used to being held, and has a fun playful personality since she's still such a baby. She'll fit in the palm of your hand! She squeaks in excitement for fresh fruits and veggies and gets very excited when she sees us coming in the room! She would love to be adopted to a home where there is another female guinea pig she could be friends with.
She had a wellness vet visit.
Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a "Guinea Pig Application" at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms
Adoption fee is: $30
Can’t adopt? Consider donating! We are in need of hay, pellets and guinea pig enrichment for Louie's care.

This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR guinea pigs receive a vet check up prior to adoption!
We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
