Meet Jelly & Bean! They were brought to Delaware Pet Rescue when their owner was no longer able to take care of them. Jelly is the dad and Bean is his son. They get along great and are very bonded, so we are hoping to find them a home where they can be adopted together. Jelly has such a fun personality - as soon as you walk into the room he runs over and stands on his hind legs like a little prairie dog! He is very interested in what you're up to, and is always looking for more fresh hay! He enjoys his daily salads of fresh fruits and veggies too, but not as much as Bean does! Jelly is a bit of a picky eater and doesn't really like peppers and some fruits, but Bean will eat everything! He seems happy that his dad leaves him an extra helping of veggies. Bean is only 4 weeks old, he's such a tiny little thing, he fits right in the palm of your hand! He has very soft fur and enjoys being held. They will make a wonderful addition to your home!  

Jelly & Bean both had a wellness vet visit and a nail trim in preparation for adoption.  

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
