Meet Oreo and Rosie! This bonded sister pair is super friendly and affectionate! They love to be held, pet and handled. Oreo is the one who looks like an oreo cookie - black with a white stripe down her middle. Rosie is white with a black patch on her head. Both are super adorable and very soft. They are great with kids and are comfortable and happy to be picked up. Oreo's favorite food is carrots, and Rosie's favorite food is lettuce. They run to the front of the cage and squeal with excitement when we come into the room! They love each other and are always together, so we are looking for a home where they can continue to stay together. Check out their cute videos!
They are 2 of 6 piggies who were surrendered to DPR when their family was no longer able to care for them due to housing issues, but all of them were extremely loved and well cared for and are clearly very used to being picked up and handled. They are friendly and social and are even used to being around dogs! These piggies will make a wonderful addition to your family! 

Oreo and Rosie saw our vet for a wellness visit and got a clean bill of health and had a nail trim. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
