Meet Zinnia! We just love her fuzzy hair covered in cowlicks (called rosettes). She is such a sweet and affectionate guinea pig who enjoys being cuddled and held. She arrived to DPR when her owner was no longer able to care for her. She's excited to find a home of her own! She is a fun and active guinea pig who likes to watch what you are doing and seems very curious. She popcorns around her enclosure and gets super excited when it's salad time! Sadly, her guinea pig companion passed away, but she would love having another friend to keep her company at her new home! 

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim  prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
