Meet Violet! She came to DPR along with 7 of her friends (Dahlia, Heather, Jasmine, Magnolia, Primrose, Iris, and Wisteria). They were all living together, and Violet would love to be adopted with one of her companions! Her BFF is Primrose - the two of them are always cuddled together in their hidey house, and we'd absolutely love if the two of them could be adopted together! Violet is simply the best!! She has an endearing head tilt, both of her ears were treated for infection but the head tilt never went away. It doesn't seem to bother her though, and she's genuinely the sweetest most gentle little piggie we've ever met!

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim  prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
