Nickie was rescued from an SPCA where she was scheduled to be euthanized and transported to the safety of a foster home with Delaware Puppy Rescue on November 7. Nickie was very pregnant, thin and scared when she came into foster care but has always had the sweetest disposition of any dog. Everyday she comes further out of her scared submissive shell and shows her foster family what a completely fantastic doggie she is.

On November 17, Nickie gave birth to two black and white puppies. They are the cutest little puppy munchkins ever! Nickie is a great mom. She is very patient, attentive and loving to her puppies.

Nickie has brought nothing but smiles to her foster family and we are so grateful we had the opportunity to have her in our lives.
