Shelter favorite! Meet Cinnamon! Have you ever seen such a gorgeous calico?! This fluffy girl is probably going to be quite big because she’s only 8 months old and already the size of your typical adult cat. She must have some Maine Coon in her! She is such a gentle soul and adores everyone she meets, including cats, dogs and kids. She will immediately climb onto your lap and nuzzle against you. If you are walking around and not paying attention to her, she will politely reach up and gently put her front paws on you, pleading for you to pleaseeeee pick her up. She LOVES the kids in her foster home. The second they sit down, she’s right on their lap. If her foster family had room for another permanent cat, they’d definitely be keeping her. She’s going to be a tough one to say goodbye to. Everyone loves Cinnamon, and we know you will too!
This cat is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/Felv.

This website is updated daily. If the animal you are interested in adopting is listed as "available for adoption", that means the animal is still in DPR's care.
*Please note - we do not do in-person meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up "curb side". Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption:
Initial vet visit
Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)
Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)
Distemper vaccination
SNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart worm
Broad spectrum dewormers
Monthly flea/tick preventative
Ear mite preventative
The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charity. The adoption fee helps to offset our standard and non-standard vet bills.
