Meet Cheesecake & Funfetti! These adorable sisters were surrendered to DPR when their owner could no longer care for them. They are friendly and affectionate and enjoy sitting on your lap. Funfetti is wearing the purple hat, and she is an Abyssinian guinea pig which means she has crazy fluffy hair with cowlicks (called "rosettes" that make it go in all different directions. Cheesecake is in the pink hat and has luxurious silky smooth hair that's very soft. Cheesecake is very mellow and loves being pet and will gladly sit on your lap as long as you want her to. Funfetti has a fun playful personality, she's more active, but is still happy to relax on your lap. The love their fruits and veggies and get excited when it's salad-time! They are chunky gals and we just adore them! They'll make a wonderful addition to your family. 
They are very bonded, so we are looking for a home that would be happy to welcome them together.

All our guinea pigs see the vet for a wellness visit and nail trim prior to adoption. 

Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!

*Please note - we do not do on-site meet and greets. Potential adopters can speak to the guinea pig's foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the guinea pig. You can pick your guinea pig up "curb side". Guinea pigs can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. *
