Kenna is a rescue from a pet store.  She was bought from a puppy mill by the Frazer, PA pet store back in early May.  About 3 weeks after arriving at the store they realized she has some hearing difficulty. She is not completely deaf but does have some hearing loss.  Realizing they couldn't get the $1800.00 they were asking for her they were going to return her to the mill.  DPR intercepted knowing her fate would have been in jeapordy having little value to the miller.  
Kenna is doing wonderfully at her foster home.  She is crate trained and learning basic commands both verbally and by hand.  She follows her furry siblings around and almost housetrained.  
We are looking for a home that has experience with special needs dogs such as Kenna and who also have another dog in the home that can be her companion and mentor.  You must also have extra-large dog experience.   If believe you can offer Kenna a great home please submit an adoption application at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms.
