Learn more about the Pekingese.
Chewey and Chachi are rescues from a puppy mill that was closing down (thankfully) and were too old to sell to a pet store. You see, any puppy over 8 weeks old is considered too old for pet stores. They get the most money, usually in the $1000 or more range, for the young puppies. The practice of the mills for older pups is either to keep them for breeding, sell them to another miller or dispose of them. We are thankful that we had contact with this miller and he allowed us to save these two boys. Chewey is such a sweet little puppy. He is very calm and laid back and loves to sit on your lap. He especially enjoys belly and giving kisses. He never ever nips or chews on your hands like a lot of puppies do! (He's not much of a chewer, so that's not how he got his name!) He's pretty well paper trained. This soft little fluff ball gets along with everyone, including kitties. You will fall in love when you see him do his sumo wrestler walk and then lay with his feet straight back. Chewey is not yippy, and he actually has a pretty deep bark (plus he makes lots of cute little snorting noises too!) He's a cute pup with a GREAT personality! If you are interested in meeting Chewey please submit an adoption application at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org Adoption Fee: $350.00 plus $50.00 altering refundable altering fee More about CheweyGood with Dogs, Good with Cats
