Chewey and Chachi are rescues from a puppy mill that was closing down (thankfully) and were too old to sell to a pet store.  You see, any puppy over 8 weeks old is considered too old for pet stores.  They get the most money, usually in the $1000 or more range, for the young puppies.  The practice of the mills for older pups is either to keep them for breeding, sell them to another miller or dispose of them.  We are thankful that we had contact with this miller and he allowed us to save these two boys. 

Chachi is a fun little puppy.  He's playful and loves his toys, but he's not hyper at all.  His favorite toy is the pink rubber ball with the bell inside.  Chachi is a pretty laid back puppy and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and people.  Chachi is not yippy, and actually has a pretty deep bark for such a little dog (plus he makes lots of cute snorting noises too!) He's pretty well paper trained.  He loves to sit on your lap and his tail never seems to stop wagging.  He's curious and likes to explore new things.  He's not a piggy when it comes to his regular food, but he LOVES to get tasty treats (although he prefers to inhale them rather than chew them!)
