Daisy came to us very scared and very pregnant back in November.  She was dropped off behind a animal control center in SC.  She has come such a long way both in distance and in her personality.  All of her puppies that were born in November have been adopted and it's now time to find Daisy a home of her own.  Daisy is just around a year old so she has some puppy in her but she also is quickly learning basic commands and is crate trained and housebroken.  She loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home.  We would love to see Daisy go into a home with another dog.  She gets such joy playing with them and we believe they help her build up her confidence. 

Daisy can be shy at first meeting but she than becomes your lap buddy.  She is more frightened of men at first but has made friends with several of them so it just takes a little longer for her.  If your looking for the perfect sized dog she is your girl.  She has been enjoying tug of war with toys or just taking one to sleep with her in the crate.  She is up to date on her shots, heartworm tested and on tick/flea control.   

Daisy's spaying will be covered by "De-Sex and the City" program sponsored by Lost and Found Dog Rescue at the Stanton SPCA.  Because she just had her puppies in November she will not be ready for spaying until February.
