Hi!  My name is Norbert and I'm an adorable shepherd mix who was rescued from West Virginia.  I'm a pretty laid back guy - I'm calm and easy going.  I get along well with everybody, and I'm friendly and well socialized.  I like spending time laying outside in the sun and going for walks.  I'm a curious little guy and enjoy exploring new things.  My brother, Dag, and I play really well together.  My fur is a little bit longer and fluffier than my brothers.  The vet detected that I have a stage 2 heart mumor - but don't let that scare you!  It's possible that I could grow out of it, but even if I don't it's considered minor and no immediate action is required other than keeping a watchful eye on it.  I love to climb up onto your lap and get belly rubs, and I'm pretty sure I'm a lap dog even though my foster mom says I'm eventually going to get a little bit too big for that!  I'm doing very well at going potty on the newspapers, and I even go potty outside sometimes too, so I think I will be easy to completely housebreak.  I've been told I'm a wonderful, loving, sensitive guy who is super smart!  If you would like to meet me, please submit an application at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms
