Nora is a rescue from the Lexington, VA SPCA.  She was turned into the shelter when she was about to give birth.  DPR was contacted and able to pull her the following day and get her into a wonderful foster home where she gave birth to 9 - yes NINE puppies. 

Nora has been a wonderful mother and now that her pups are old enough to be on their own she needs a home of her very own.  Nora is everything you could want in a dog.  She is sweet, submissive, friendly to everyone, including dogs and cats.  She is quick to learn commands, not a barker and only wants to please.  She is housetrained and walks very well on a leash.  She is up to date on shots, HW negative and on flea/tick control.  Due to giving birth in April she is not able to be spayed until late June.  DPR will cover the cost of her spaying at the Delaware SPCA in Stanton.   If you are interested in meeting this great gal, please submit an adoption application at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms.
