Cilla was found wondering the streets in December, trying to care for her 3 newborn puppies. She was turned into a high-kill shelter in Henderson, NC, along with her 3 puppies. That's where Delaware Puppy Rescue found her, and brought them all to Delaware in early January. Cilla's puppies have since been adopted, and now it's time for her to find her forever home. 

For the past few months, Cilla has been living in a foster home with 4 other dogs. Since she had been living on the streets, before she was turned into the shelter, Cilla needed some time with her foster family, to adjust to living with people & in a home. She has made an amazing transformation into a healthy & happy young dog. And has also already been spayed, and up-to-date on all of her shots.

Cilla is still young & full of energy, and loves to run around & play in the back yard. But also enjoys just chilling on the deck, watching the birds & squirrels. She gets along great with other dogs, and would do best in a home who already has another well-adjusted dog (about her size or larger). She has learned alot from her 4-legged foster brothers & sisters. And tends to follow their lead, when there's somethings she's unsure about.

Cilla has become quite a people person, and is friendly with everyone she meets. She has gone from an extremely shy & timid mom, and blossomed into a little snuggle-bug, who will take all the attention you will give her.
