We were contacted about a puppy that was rejected by a pet store who needed rescue or would be returned back to the mill in IN.  They said the store rejected him because he was too old at approximately 8 weeks old.  We took the "Chance" and decided to bring him into our program.  Our little boy was filthy and his fur was caked over his eyes to the point of not being able to see.  He was very shy which was understandable since it could have been weeks he had lost his vision.  Once he arrived into his foster home he was clipped, given a bath and some good food.  We discovered that he had only had a small eye infection but due to no treatment it became blinding to him because of his fur sticking over his eyes.  His infection has now been treated with the easiest of medications and he is now just a regular pup!  He has come out of his shell and participates in full play with his foster sibling pups and so wants to be picked up and held by his foster mom.  He melts in your arms.  Though he doesn't look gorgeous right now we know he will shortly and we are so happy that we took the "Chance" of saving him from a life of blindness in a mill.  If you are intersted in being considered for adoption of Chance please submit an application at www.DelawarePuppyRescue.org/forms  Adoption donation $375.00
