11/7/12 Update:  Granted I'm not gorgeous but I make up for it in personality.  I promise to make you smile and laugh everyday.  If you're looking to adopt a rescue that doesn't stand out, is one of a thousand brown dogs, who has endless potential but will take a little time, I'm your girl.  Please just take a second to think about what we could have together. 

10/18/12 Update Ellie is doing wonderfully in her foster home.  She is full of energy and learning basic manners.  She does have lots of energy and will need a way to burn it off - with another dog to play with (which she loves) or possibly a running partner or active family.  Because of her energy level we are looking for a home with a fenced in yard.  Ellie needs an owner that has experience with dogs.  She gets nervous around small children and will run from them so we are looking for an adult home for her.  

Ellie was turned into a shelter after having given birth to a litter of puppies.  She is a mix of unknown breeds but weighs about 35 lbs and has adorable ears that can go in any direction.   Ellie is housetrained and is crate trained.  She does well with all her foster siblings from 8 lbs to 130 lbs.  She has learned the joy of toys and is happy to share them with anyone or any other dog willing to play with her.  She does have a favorite friend in her German Shepard foster sibling.  They can play for hours.  She is very good with her food manners both with people and other dogs.  She loves belly rubs and attention but settles down nicely.
