UPDATE from Nic's foster mom:

Nicholette is extremely petite, only 33 pounds. She is sweet, adorable and so-o-o very affectionate. Nic is so affectionate that she lick's everyone over and over as if we were all ice cream cones. She will kiss you all day if you let her. When you look into those beautiful brown eyes of hers you'll see right into her sweet soul.

If you are looking for a dog that doesn't shed then she is the girl for you. Her coat is extremely short but very shiny and she feels like velvet! She is a smart, gentle little girl who will show you what its like to be adored.

If you are looking for a little dog who will love YOU more then you thought
possible, if you are looking for a dog to keep you company, if you are looking for a dog who will make you LAUGH OUT LOUD, then Nic is the girl for you! I know this little one is a true treasure and no one should be concerned about her breed. She is a sweet and loving little one who wants nothing more then to please you. She is my little Angel.

She has so much personality that she is just a pure joy! She makes everyone laugh, and smile and she is so WONDERFUL that you just have to hug her. She just LOVES to be loved and to give love.

If you need a dog to get those pesky birds and squirrels to move on to someone else property, then she is the girl for you! She is always out back chasing birds, squirrels and bugs. She loves to chase everything! We think it would be best that Nic not live with cats.

Nicholette is that little dog you remember growing up with. She came to us from the Stanton SPCA here in Delaware. She was picked up with her three two week old puppies. Though she is only a couple years old she was a wonderful, loving mother. Her kids have now been adopted out and it's now her turn to get the attention and love she so deserves.

She gets along wonderfully with all fellow fur friends dogs - she will be friends with everyone in the family. She is submissive to all our other dogs. She would be the perfect girl to grow up with your kids. She loves toys so much that I found her sitting in our big toy basket just touching them, throwing them in the air, and just playing with each of them. It's as if she's never had a toy of her own and she is delighted to have such treasures!!

She hasn't met anyone she doesn't love. She is every kids best friend. She is a very smart girl and would be quick to learn anything you want to teach her. She is very willing to please.

She is an active little girl and loves to be around people and other dogs. She hasn't met anyone she doesn't love. Nicholette should have a home with a 6 foot privacy fence or invisible fence in which she has already been trained.

No dog 6 months and up will ever leave L&F Dog Rescue without being spayed/neutered. Spay/Neuter is MANDATORY.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not place puppies in homes where no one will be home all day. Puppies, like babies, need lots of attention, socialization and cuddles. We do not feel that it is humane to leave them in a crate for 8-10 hour alone.

If you are applying for an adult dog, we do expect that if no one is home all day, arrangements will be made to provide the dog with at least (1) "potty break" daily, whether it is through a family member, neighbor or petsitting service. We know that it is impossible for us humans to "hold it" for 8-10 hours, so we do not want our "shelter kids" to be expected to do so.
