Peanut and her 2 siblings (Patches & Summer) were surrendered to the Warren County Humane Society in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with their Mother "Princess". Sadly their mother was turned into the shelter totally emaciated and starving. But somehow she found a way to take care of and nurse these 3 littles puppies. They made it through those rough times, and are now blossoming into energetic, curious little puppies. Peanut is the smallest in the litter (hence how she got her name). But don't let her fool you, she can definately hold her own. It seems that Peanut is going to look like a red and white springer spaniel, as she gets more and more spots everyday. And you can't miss those beautiful bluish green eyes of hers. Peanut is a very sweet and affectionate little girl. She loves to be held, but also likes to run around with her siblings and explore. All 3 puppies are already getting used to the outdoors, and enjoy running around in the yard. Peanut is looking for an active family who will take her on many walks, and a family that has lots of time to play with her. If you are interested in meeting Peanut, please first fill out an adoption application. Then her foster mom will be in contact with you once your application has been approved.
