Jake was picked up as a stray and found himself in a South Carolina kill shelter. He is a beautiful Labrador Retriever mix, around 4 years old, 59 pounds, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, house trained, good with kids, other dogs, and cats. He was treated for heartworm in SC and is now in perfect health. He is a happy dog who loves people and makes a friend out of everyone he meets. He has free run of the house and does not need to be crated. He loves to sleep on the floor next to his foster mom's bed at night. Jake is a very affectionate, sweet, calm boy. He loves his foster mom's 18 month old and 3 year old granddaughters. He is also good on a leash and loves to walk with you and explore things while outside.
