Very sadly Whiskey and Demon's Mom must find them a new home due to her own health issues.  We are looking for a home to adopt or temporarily foster them.
They are six months old, beautiful boys.  Bonded, playful and loving.
Here is a recent update from them Mom about them:

Demon and Whiskey    Formerly Marco and Munster

They are wonderful loving dogs.  Bring new meaning to little dog stubbornness and redefining snuggle bugs. When able, I am working w/ a trainer; they learn fast but need repetition w/ following thru. They know their names and know ‘sit’.  They know ‘back’ & ‘wait’ so they don’t rush the door.  They know ‘down’ but do get excited meeting new people, so this command needs some work.  If they pick up something they’re not supposed to have they know ‘drop’.  Walk well on the 5ft leash.  Sometimes get hyper on the 8ft leash but do calm down after a little bit.  The training lead is about 40ft, only 1 at a time and this is used for learning ‘come’ and ‘stay w/ me’.

They sniff the trash can a little but haven’t had a problem w/ them getting into it or the recycling bin.

They’ve also been good about not jumping up at the counters.

They aren’t full poms, but they are still so beautiful.  Some say Demon resembles a small Skipper Key and Whiskey looks like a toy Newfoundland.  You can set your clock to their stomachs. 6am breakfast and 4pm dinner. It’s funny. They get a good size ½ cup of dry food at each meal. To avoid the typical little dog weight & teeth issues the only cookies they get are raw carrots or green beans, crunchy; they get plenty of them, & get excited especially for the green beans.

I use a tiny bit a peanut butter for the jack pot treat in training.

We are still crate training because they are still learning the concept that rugs are not for pee pee. But are getting much better, they are going to the door, gotta keep an eye out for it tho. Demon has started nudging the potty bell but not always enough to hear it & Whiskey has started doing a quiet whine.

They pull out every toy from the basket before deciding which one to play with.  It’s usually the one the other has or the basket itself.  Being puppies they like to chew, so they have plenty, plenty toys; but you still have watch them. They like to beat each other up; & sometimes they get rough, telling them “quiet play” a couple times is working.

They wait impatiently when my husband comes home from work for him to sit so they can climb up into his lap. But they will listen to the ‘down’ command & wiggle butts till ‘okay up’.

They smile, my husband says it reminds him of the dental commercials with the dogs smiling with human teeth.

They don’t try to get into my car but don’t leave the door to the pickup open.  When you turn around they always find a way to get their little butts up into the cab; or they stand with their paws on the running boards and won’t move. They know what “ride” means, w/ that being said they LOVE them. I don’t let them jump out, they wait to get picked up to be put down.

Demon loves to run. Gotta make sure he actually uses the back steps instead of going air borne w/ excitement. He will run circles, figure 8s and crisscross the yard all day if he can.  Loves to torment Whiskey because he can’t run as fast.  They can’t go off leash yet but individually they are doing well with the training lead.  Whiskey holds his own though and will blindside Demon like a steamroller; although he doesn’t always pay attention if trees are around when he does it. Whiskey will carry Demons leash for you, it is so cute.  If you lean down & hold your arms out Demon will run & jump into them, wonderful feeling.

Both are adventurous but in different ways.  Demon wants to get into everything and be in your face. Just dives head first into things. But he is a drama king. Whiskey is kind of shy at 1st, but overcomes it quickly.  Tentatively investigates something before diving in and is so stoic. If something is in his paw he just sits and patiently tries to dig it out or waits for you with his paw up in the air. Demon lets the world know. But they are reversed when getting anal glands pinched. Also Whiskey is the one who used those sweet eyes & gave the “you violated me” look after being neutered. Whiskey whines but it’s really him talking to you. It takes a little while to figure out what he wants but you do.  Demon communicates by getting in your face & giving you looks. Demon also loves to chase his tail.

They are good about brushing but they are puppies so they squirm a bit. They get their feet played w/ all the time & will let you dry them & trim the nails; just gotta take your time w/ lots of kisses in between.

When you snuggle, Demon will crawl into a ball on your chest. You have to keep pushing him up cause he doesn’t care when he slides down onto your throat. Sometimes he’ll lie against your side w/ his legs up in the air. Sleeps like that too.  Whiskey curls up in your arm pit, he likes to have his head on your shoulder a lot when he does. Sometimes he curls up in the crook of your knees.

They do a little hollering when you leave the house, but I’ve stood outside & they calmed down within 2 minutes.  But if you leave 1 in the house & take the other outside they get very upset.  They have separation anxiety issues when they are apart.  They can sleep in different crates now.  My trainer referred to it as ‘super bonding’.  We are working on it.  It’s getting a little better but it is a slow process & takes time. I read up on it, they say start w/ 10 minutes at a time 1 in while the other outside & always let them play for a few minutes when you put them back together.

They love being outside, so active persons would be ideal.  Family or joggers or hikers. No little kids, just because they can get under foot, probably 10 and older.  They haven’t had much socialization w/ other dogs(sorry), but when they did they weren’t aggressive; more excited & overwhelmed the other dog.  They have barked at my neighbor’s cat but have never actually met him. They get protective of the property when they see the deer & would chase given the chance.  Oh, just in case, they really didn’t know how to react to goats.
