Meet our beautiful brown eyed girl Emory. She was found along a road in VA along with her six nursing puppies. They were brought to a VA shelter who reached out to us asking for help. With the help of some wonderful volunteers they were transported up to us safe and sound. Emory's pups are now going on 7 weeks old and it's time to find this wonderful Mom a home of her very own where she will always be safe and secure. Emory has been wonderful in her foster home. She gladly meets every visitor with a wagging tail. She is housetrained, very good on a leash and does well riding in the car. There has been some instances of counter surfing and trash investigation but she is very responsive to a firm "no". She is quick to jump on a chair to curl up but again, if given direction she is happy to lay on a dog bed. A home with a fenced in yard is perferred. She is fine with other dogs as long as they aren't overwhelming. No cat testing has been done yet at this point.
