Sweet Katie is mom to our litter of 7 Georgia babies.  She was found as a very pregnant stray dog in GA and picked up by animal control.  We were able to pull her out of the shelter and get her into a foster home in GA where she gave birth to her 7 pups.  She traveled with them to Delaware when her puppies were 6 weeks old.  

Now that her pups are ready to find their forever homes, so is Katie.  She is sweet, gentle, loving and so happy that her tail is always wagging.  She is house trained and loves her foster family's dogs.  She is great with children and indifferent to cats.  Katie is around 16 pounds, 2 years old and we believe a mix of Jack Russell Terrier and Beagle.  She is heartworm negative, but tested positive for ehrlichia, so we are treating her with the standard 30 day dose of doxycycline. Because she gave birth on Nov. 24th she is not able to be altered until March/April, so will be adopted out with agreement that adopters will have her spayed.
