We just couldn't walk away from the pleas to rescue Laney.  The shelter volunteers in SC just loved her but she had so many things against her.  She was HW positive and not a young girl, she had major hair loss due to being eaten up by fleas, and to top it all off, her former owners left her tied up to a tree outside of the shelter one night.  She needed our help, so we brought her up to Delaware and placed her in one of our wonderful foster homes.  Laney has just blossomed in her foster home. She has completed her heartworm treatment, and is in perfect health - bright eyed, energetic, and full of love to give!  As you can see her fur is growing back into a beautiful coat.  Laney is spayed and ready for her forever family.  She is completely housebroken, only chews on the doggie chew toys, and loves to go for walks. She is a great communicator! She will find her foster mom in the house, look at her, and give the cutest little whine when she wants something. She will need a SECURELY fenced yard though, because she is a little escape artist. She gets along with people of all ages (even small children) and other dogs. She's only mildly curious about the cats but would love to have a chance to chase the squirrels. She has the absolute sweetest personality and is very low maintenance.
